The Muslim claim is deceptive however because this finger pointed to heaven is found on many headstones in early America and most were devout Christians. I took the photo below in a cemetery at Port Gamble, WA.
Even the Mormons have used the pointing finger as this one on the wall of the Tabernacle in St. George, Utah
