Muhammad and the Talking Wolf

It has been written that a wolf spoke to a shepherd during the prophet's life near Madinah.  The wolf sat on its tail and addressed the shepherd saying: "Be afraid of Allah, you have taken the provision from me which Allah gave me."  The shepherd was even more amazed when it told him that Muhammad was in Yathrib (Al-Madinah) proclaiming "news of the past".  Sure enough, the shepherd went to town and found Muhammad and told him the story.  Muhammad then had him share it with the people proving he was Allah's man of the hour.   Musnad of Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (Vol. 3)
