Muhammad in D.C.

We often hear the argument that Islam is in harmony with American justice because there is a relief carving of Muhammad on the walls of the Supreme Court.
Our Capitol is decorated with numerous historical and mythical figures.  At the National Library there is a fountain statue of Neptune.
The Washington Monument is a huge phallic symbol which in ancient history represented the fertility cults of various pagan religions.
Many of our founding fathers owned a copy of the Quran because they wanted to understand the ideology of Islam.  I own several copies of the Quran yet like most of our founding fathers understand it contradicts and challenges both the Jewish Old Testament as well as the New Testament and the gospel.  How is it that statues of southern soldiers are being removed for racist or unethical lives while Muhammad who murdered the Jews of Khaybar, married a 6 year old, and was a slave trader, is on full display on the walls of the Supreme Court in DC?

  1. Because unlike you, they read the whole story. especially the incident of khaybar! lets start with Aisha rad.

1 - There's only one source regarding the age of Aisha (the alleged 6yo girl who married the prophet): Hisham Ibn Urwah

2 - This guy was born half a century after the death of the prophet

3 - He taught islam during most of his adult life in Medine, and it is only AT THE AGE OF 71 that he went to Irak to spend his last years. During all these years in Medine, HE NEVER ONCE TOLD ABOUT AISHA BEING 6. It's only after he went to Irak that iraki people started to tell about how Hisham said that Aisha was 6 when the marriage was agreed upon.

4 - Hisham's main disciple (Malik Ibn Anas), a huge figure for muslims, stated that he couldn't believe anything the irakis because it was rather obvious falsifications (the guy spent basically 40 years with Hisham withtout hearing anything the irakis talked about)

5 - Other sources state that anything Hisham stated in Irak was the obvious byproduct of severe cognitive decline.

6 - During 120 years, no one ever said that Aisha was 6, only that she was the prophet youngest wife. Since then, NO OTHER SOURCE EVER STATED THAT AISHA WAS 6.

7 - Asma, Aisha's sister, was born 27 years before the hijrah, and Asma is canonically 10 years older than her sister Aisha. Therefore, Aisha was canonically 19 when she was married and 22 when they consumed.

    2. Saint Agnes: Another very famous Christian figure in history, Saint Agnes—who is known as the patron saint of chastity—fielded marriage proposals when she was younger than twelve years old. Domestic- Church.com says:
Saint Agnes' name means chaste or pure in Greek and lamb or victim in Latin. She has always been regarded by the Church as a special patroness of purity. Agnes was martyred early in the persecution of Diocletian, who began his persecution of Christians in March of 303. She was only twelve or thirteen years old at the time of her death (accounts differ). Even at that young age, her wealth and beauty had attracted the attention of the young noblemen of Rome, who competed with each other for her hand in marriage.

    15. Richard of Shrewsbury, King Edward IV’s son, married the five year old Anne Mowbray of Norfolk.
    16. Mary Stewart married Henry VIII when she was only six. Given that twelve was the canonical age for marriage, and that in 1298 the Pope had stipulated that she should marry Prince Edward as soon as she reached that age, these dates are viable. In the same document of June 1298, the Pope describes Isabella as being 'under seven years', which places her birth at any time from 1291 onwards. Furthermore, the Treaty of Montreuil (June 1299) provided for Isabella's betrothal and marriage to take place when she reached the respective canonical ages of seven and twelve. So she must have reached seven before May 1303, and twelve before January 1308.
