Slave Soldiers and Dracula

The Ottoman Janissaries
Formed in 1359 by Murad, many of the early Muslim Janissaries soldiers were young boys taken as slaves by the Turks from Christian lands they had pillaged.  Brainwashed by rewards and Islamic texts they were trained to become crack troops for the sake of Allah and the Sultan for future jihad.
In west we have been fed a wild Hollywood tale about Dracula when in fact the story is rooted in the hellish world of dhimmis under the Muslim Turks.  Vlad Tepes and his brother Radu, were taken captive as security for their father's loyalty to the Sultan in 1442.  Their father being ruler of Wallachia (modern Romania) eventually died.  The two brothers were trained in war under the Sultan but Vlad eventually made a break for it and ended up back in his home country as an enemy of the Turks.  Vlad defied paying tribute to the Turks.  When the Sultan sent messengers to Vlad, legend has it, they had their turbans nailed to their heads because they did not remove them in respect, and were sent back in reply.  Later Vlad became known as the Impaler when he impaled a forest of people which later shocked the invading Muslim soldiers by the ghastly scene of rotting corpses being eaten by birds.  His very brother Radu became one of the enemies he was threatened with.  The impaling treatment was something he had learned from the Muslims and it worked well for him.  Terror is the Muslim way, sanctioned by the Quran in the name of Allah.  In 1453 Constantinople fell to the terrorists who eventually hunted down Vlad and many of his loyal troops.
