Muslim Baptism, which Jesus?

Opening to Surah 2:138 in the Quran shown above I read "(Our religion is) the Baptism of Allah..." This translation by Abdullah Yusuf Ali is very misleading because Muslims don't do baptisms and you don't see this in other translations of the Quran. But this appeases the naive Christian who thinks in these terms however. This is pure poppycock being sent out by ISLAMICITY (non profit), Culver City, CA.

Moderate liars!
If Muslims love Jesus why do they hate the cross and refuse to be baptized in his name?  The same Jesus that healed the sick could also forgive sins.  This Muhammad could not do.  There were those during the time of Christ that asked, "who can forgive sins but God alone?" (Mark 2:6-11)  Jesus said, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning me?"  And the Jews answered him, "For a good work we do not stone you, but for blasphemy; because you being a man make yourself out to be God." (John 10:31-33)  Though many Jews understood who he was and became his disciples, there were many who did not.  They could not understand that not only was Jesus the son of man, he was also the Son of God who came to be the sacrificial lamb.  When Israel rejected him as their messiah they set about the time for their judgment when their temple would be leveled and the would be scattered throughout the world until the end of the age of he Gentiles. (Luke 21:20-24)

  1. I think Muslims don't want to be baptised in the name of Jesus because although he is a prophet in Islam in his own right, he's not "their" prophet. Just like Christians would not get baptised in the name of Moses I would guess, because Jesus is the Christian prophet.
